About

Chris has been a mountaineer for many years. He has climbed 200 peaks in Glacier Park and summitted some bigger mountains including Rainier, Pico de Orizaba, and Hood. Ten years ago, after volunteering in the Wilderness Program at Glacier National Park for a few years, he started doing river patrols as a volunteer river ranger. He soon discovered that waters could take him to even more exciting places.

The excitement and unlimited potential of packrafting inspired him to start Packrafting the 406, LLC. He hopes this will give people the opportunity to explore what packrafting has to offer the adventurous. In the Flathead Valley and surrounding area we have some incredible packrafting opportunities. The Wild and Scenic Rivers await.
